Cool meeting

We assume you'll drive straight by our place? via Bungendore route
guessing you should be there around 6:15-30 so we have the radio on and waiting for all of you on the road.

can some one confirm the route

wont have access to the net next week so if after the meeting if things change can some one SMS or call me on the mobile (Damo has the number)
if not PM me to get it.

cheers Dane & Di

Fun Sparrows Fyshwick

I'm still good for the day. Why the EARLY start, it's only an hour away, what gives?

The guys at the track expect up to 100 cars from our combined clubs so would prefer us to get there just before the general public.

We have an area with padlock access and less than half the cars going now.... So probably can have a later run up there if needed. With Daylight savings ending it will actually be 7:00am that we will be departing when the clock strikes 6........

Speaking to Brad @ HSV Club says they should see 20+ from thier group we now only have 13 or so from our club and (Mini and Gemini clubs) should see smaller numbers than predicted - which again is a shame...

What a great day!

Big thanks to the organisers for organsing and the Newcastle and HSV clubs for showing up.
Thanks to Damo's expert BBQing skills or we'd all be hungry (although he did have to force us back for seconds)

Thanks to Dane and Di (especially Di) for having a few of us over.

I took over 2000 photos, lots of work ahead on those. Thankfully a quick eyeballing shows most are good (always a worry with a new lens).

Damo, Top job well done. A hard act to follow for future events. The camaraderie between our Ford friends from Newcastle and Sydney, and of course our mates from the 'dark' side, made it a day to remember.

We would like to thank you all for your generosity & friendliness. As individuals & as a club you want to feel very proud of yourselves for making four people from Newcastle, that you'd never met, feel so very comfortable & welcome. Pat, Greg, Sandra & David.

Good to see our elected officials are working hard.

Some shots from the various races (no real order thanks to PB mixing them up). I was lucky to be on the ball and caught the whole series of events in the Formula Ford crash.

Good day lads and ladettes. The weather was fine, then cold, then fine, then.....you get the idea, the food was yummy and plentiful, and most importantly the company was great. It was good to meet the guys from Newcastle (very keen) and Sydney. You'll always be welcome to join us at any event (and of course we'll be looking to join you guys when and where we can).

The racing was interesting but the outcome for us Ford lovers wasn't that great. The saddest time was lap 1, turn 1 of race 3 when all the AUs were TAKEN OUT in that massive pile-up. However, the mighty Pursuit 250 turned the tables by leading the ACT Club home to Canberra.

The Chief's Page has been updated to recognise Damo's contribution to the day.

Now when is the next event?
