Guys, am I correct in my limited knowledge that you need a CAMS license to run in the event? To obtain a license, what is involved?

Keen to come and have a look - see.

Stu, yes this event requires at least a CAMS L2S license, to get one you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club (I'm in the SDMA, which gives access to the local hill climbs which are pretty fun), fill out forms, send money etc.

All, I spoke with Damien from Shannons yesterday, he's said because he is short of show and shine entrants, give him a call ASAP to organise entry for a special deal.

Times are here: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...2/10/2011.TEMA

I PB'd at 24.838s (my on board data logging showed 220kph)
DaveC at 24.158s

Speeds were being calculated by the officials, hopefully they get published.

It was terribly slippery, I was breaking into wheel spin from about 20% throttle. One run, was slipping all the way through 3rd and into 4th.
