Default R.IP Kevin Flaherty

Very sad news that Australian Pro Stock pioneer Kevin Flaherty passed away on 10/7/14. For those who doesn't know of Kevin his pro stock XB falcon coupe was one of the biggest draw cards in Aus drag racing history and my personal favourite.
Thanks for the great memories R.I.P

The XE was driven (I believe) by Greg, Kevins son.

I saw the XE quite a few times at Castlereagh, it was my favorite car back then.

RIP Kevin & Greg.

That would be me. Illegitimate son though.

I found this photo of Kevin's XB today. At AIR I'm struggling to remember but guessing late 70's.

Hi guys, Gregs XE pro stock was my favorite car back in the 80s, it used to draw a huge crowd when it came to calder park & Heathcote raceway in Victoria.
There used to be a big rivalry between Greg Flahertys XE and Hans Van Dyke in his HQ Monaro, it was great to watch.
There is footage of the XE on you tube (I don't know how to upload it)
