Hi

I have an old magazine with a guy that specializes in fuel injection for 1600 kent engines. Is it going to be a race engine??? I will dig it up and give you the number.

the engine builder told me 100+ hp, fully worked head, larger inlet, larger exhaust valves, ported, 28/68 cam, extractors, gt manifold and webber, sports exhaust, electronic ignition, running 11-1 compression, looks like it is stock standard except for extractors and ramflow filter.. since i pit the V6 diff(3.22) in it, it really winds out now, done over 100 mph easily, still wanted to go more...... so now I want to fuel inject it to make use of the power more easily..

yeah fjord ford was the name of the place in the magazine. hope you have fun with it. Is it going to be a race car? I am building a 1600 with twin carbs. It would be good to compare horsepower

No its not a race car, just a street user, 4 speed also and yep, they go great, just like a bit more power without havin to go engineer hassles, sure I`d like larger motor in it, but family, mortgage etc etc, so its slow process, when I was running it in(had about 800miles on it) , family was heading down to goulburn, a low lexus with a snobby woman in it went past, she looked down her nose at us, and smiled when she flew past, bout 10 miles later after creepin the car up to 90mph, blew past her at 105 mph, wife yellin slow down. kids yellin go faster dad...it was hilarious to see the look on her face....:
