Need some help guys and a bit clue, I have Ford Laser KE 1989 hatchback. I just realized when turn my key into ignition, my battery indicator doesn't appear, normally there are another indicator, oil and handbrake. also my idle speed suddenly increased bout 2k rpm.
Does anyone had similar problem like me...!! ThanX b4 |

might be the bulb behind the dash --undo the dash to get to it
or a problem with the regulator check its charge with a volt meter across the + and - poles when running

To clarify on that last advice put the voltmeter on the battery posts not the alternator itself; when charging with engine running it should read close to 14 volts.
