Yes I agree with you. However based on everything I have read in this forum, engine build numbers are the limiting factor about increasing the supply of car build numbers for the XR8.

Therefore it will be interesting to hear from the engine build boys to see if they are being asked to work overtime, work additional hours on weekends and/or if Ford is hiring additional staff (temporarily) to help increase the number of engines being built.

Without an increased supply of additional engines I dont see how cars can be supplied in greater numbers in a shorter period of time for ordered cars? Only time will tell whether or not my observations are correct or wrong!

Cheers, Brent

I reckon they must be making about 5 a day.

My theory is they built about 150 late last year, building 1200 this year, and 650 odd next year.

Finally saw the tail lights of one at night. They look awesome!
Took me a while to pick the car, thought it was a Lexus of some sort at first.

Just spotted the first FGX police car in Sydney. I was driving from the airport yesterday afternoon and the rear end stood out on the XR6.
Sorry about the dirty windscreen.

Didn't they do away with the XT and G6 models, and its now just Falcon, G6E(T) and the XR models?

I got the picture from my dash cam but I noticed the led driving lights in my rear view mirror earlier which caught my attention. That was why I thought it was not a ‘poverty pack’.
