Default Uncy Geoff

I was just having a look at the memberlist of FF.au and I notice Geoff Polites is already a member here. Is that really him, cause I didnt think he would have been having much involvement since he's over in EU now.

If it is him, I'd just like to say a big hello from the other side of the world, and hope everything is still going good over there.

Hopefully this site will remain a welcoming place like the days of old at FF.com and you can remain a part of our community.

Yup, saw that too. Btw it's Geoff, not goeff (sorry just being picky :p ).

David Flint was online @ FF.com a few minutes ago. I assume admin (or someone who knows him a bit better than we do) invited him to here?

That might take a bit longer as the email address bounced for some reason. GP and several other selected people were invited to a sneak preview yesterday evening which is how they got to be here. Their presence is appreciated.

Cheers
Russ

My suggestion is give him the #1 user number as an honorary title like they do with footy clubs (re-number @dm1nistrat0r$)

hehe that's a good idea, I think it's great if we can get some of the top dogs at Ford to come on here occasionally, gives us a chance as Ford customers to tell them what we think of their product and how they can improve it in the future ;)

(not that it needs a whole lot of improvement)

He used to drop in to FF every now and then. I'd say he enjoyed the experience because he is still with us

apparently he popped up on the other FF every now and then, and i know that the mods presented him with like a massive bottle of champagne or somethin with a FF plaque on it...so he does acknowledge the forums....

dont expect to see him in here debating in threads or whoring though! :p!

I tell you what...It's not that often that someone of such standing
will do that sort thing like hanging out at a forum, only goes to show the nature of the man, and anyone who goes out of their way to say hello to the masses is damn fine in my books.
