Default Upper and Lower Trailing arms - EL-AU?

Hi All,

Am getting some new bits and pieces for my AU (non IRS) and the part numbers (46900AHD and 46903HD) appear to be the same from EL-AU.

Does this sound right? I am after the "high performance" ones to suit my Lowered AU..

Thanks in advance
Cam

EDIT: This is for rears btw

the same part numbers as you have listed are on listed on the Nolathane website for both EL and AU, so i guess they're the same

http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_...umber=46900AHD
http://www.nolathane.com.au/product_...number=46903HD

have you measured the lengths of yours?
the EF used a different length arm to the EL? iirc

I haven't measured mine as I have the stock ones and want to replace them with the "High performance" ones (top one is shorter iirc?) to suit lowered vehicles..

Guess I will take the punt and see what happens!

wasn't it you that had problems with a badly bent one a year or two ago or it rubbed when you went over bumps or something. didn't people think it was the wrong one on there then.

EL XR top arms are different (shorter with a bend on the diff end) but mount up in a different position on the diff. Not shore about AU?

Good memory!

I did think that was the issue, it was actually only part of the issue.. it turned out that it was the one of the exhaust flanges hitting the sway bar. The arm that I had on there did show some signs of damage (from what appeard to be it hitting the diff).. I replaced it with a factory one from a stocko AU in the other mounting points... (stock being 320mm and tickford being 340mm after a quick search)

I have since had an accident in the car and the rear end copped a massive hit and I am wanting to replace the arms in the rear end along with pretty well other bush in the rear end... (ripped the watts link from the back of the diff to give you an idea of the impact..)

Did some more searching and confirmed (from my old thread actually!) that the EL-AU arms are the same, thanks for reminding me of that thread cedric!
