Default BA door moulds

Hey people just wanted to know if the BA door moulds will fit on to the AU S1 door. the AU door moulds are big and ugly. The BA are so much smoother.

I reckon the AU door moulds look really good, especially with some silver pinstriping in the channel! The BA ones look cheap IMO, horses for courses though! LOL!

The size is the same, but the BA door moulds don't line up with th rest of the AU crease lines etc on the other panels. Like I said, it can be done, but IMO would look silly.

No they won't, don't waste your money. The BA door moulds extend onto the front guards whereas the AU door moulds do not. If you put the BA door mould on it'll look silly where there should be another piece of moulding for the guard. It would be hard to put the BA guard moulding onto an AU because the AU has no recess in the guard, but the BA does. It'd look funny.

Digging up an old thread but did anybody manage to do this? I had planned on fitting the BA side strips to my Au2 without using the guard parts to get rid of the pyramids currently hanging off the side of the doors.

the doors are much the same in fact some S3s had BA doors (like mine) ford always seems to make hybrids at the end of a run. the main drama is where the trim meets the dash the shape is different and would kust look odd
