Default 2009 Air Bag Light

Daughters air bag light came on yesterday in her Focus and wont go out. Any Ideas why it wont? Thanks. It is not part of any recall that I know of.

A rough guess is strained connector/wires under one of the seats. So many makes have a problem of this form.

So I had an auto electrician come around, every time he cleared the fault it came back. He apparently traced it to the drivers door but he cant fix it himself so off to Ford. I was a little disappointed he couldn't fix. More later.

142$ later from Ford and they took it apart put it back together and the light no longer comes on. Dirty connection. Why the autolec couldn't do that or try that I don't know.
