Its a 1972 Vauxhall Victor with 2200bph! (thats not a typo! Two Thousand, Two Hundred!)

oh, and its street legal and does 0-100kph in 1 second courtesy of a 9.3L V8 with 2 turbos and a nitrous system.

Absolutely insane!

Fantastic could be the the best car video i have seen in YouTube 5 min mini segment....
Fastest street legal car that's the beauty of the turbos...see the 2 black lines it leaves even on the race track....its total madness that car on the street.

This one isn't to shabby either.
Listen to the guy on the dyno, he cracks a woody.

1520 rwhp with 59psi of boost = ET: 8.45 on street rubber

I don't really know either, it may have an engine built to suit, the Jap cars do run big boost, I have heard of some ridiculous high PSI being put into VL commodores they also have a jap engine in them..

Nope the toyota motors are built tough, the US guys can get em to hold together with silly boost (as above), obviously its on race fuel although they do get street driven.

i remember some guy saying how low boost/street is 35psi for them and 50+psi is race tune. Most people think 30psi is insane!

The camera sits on a tripod that is ratchet strapped in tight to the underneath of the front seats.
