Default Sydney gangs

re the families who hate each others guts, if the police think they are going to win this then they are dreaming.
My suggestion,
Hire out an army base for a weekend, invite the said families and associated members in, provide them the fire power of their choice and let them at it.

Last man standing cleans up the mess, and no religious ceremony after

I don't know that the Police are trying to win it, probably quietly happy about it all as long as there's no collateral damage.
What I hate about it is they use top end cars for the shootings, BMW, Porsches etc then burn them.
Use a Commodore already.

Yeah just let em go, they are doing a good job of cleaning up themselves, then there will only be a few left for the cops to clean up in the end.

Only problem is the next lot of scum will come up and the vicious circle will start all over again.

I personally think they are burning the right crap, anything from the VW, Audi, Skoda camp can all be bulldozed into a pile and lit up.
Its getting harder each day to avoid the VAG stuff at work you only have to breathe on 1 and warning lights come up.

Gangs are killing themselves, That's good
Innocent civilians close by will get unlucky sooner or later; That's bad
The police are onto it and seem to know about the hit lists; That's good
Police resources being wasted; That's bad
Less highway patrols on the road as picking on car enthusiasts; That's good
Highway Patrols aren't real cops solving real crime and remain sitting at your nearest on ramp; That's bad

is there anyone who feels sorry for the people involved in this?

As long as no innocent people are involved, move on, nothing to see here

Police have to be seen to be doing something, but they wouldn't be terribly upset

It’s a problem in the sense that a lot of non-fatal fringe activities are negatively impacting ordinary, unconnected people.

Road rage, assaults, socially obnoxious behaviour and threats over petty matters. The way issues in these categories are treated in the courts mean these stains on humanity carry on basically unaffected. Even their serious crimes seem to attract questionably low penalties.

There is a short video being shared of the most recent Auburn incident..

Not a pretty sight...

Having said that I currently live smack bang in the middle of all this (and used to live in Auburn) and never saw any of this gang activity myself.

With so many shots fired I'm surprised no one else was killed.

No sympathy from me - except for maybe the innocent father that was shot whilst sitting in the car with his criminal son (happened about a year ago).

I'm from the group who appreciates a few less BMW sh!tboxes on the road, burn more I say. Nothing "top end" about them.

Exactly, who would want to be seen driving an Audi. I wouldn't be seen in one as a dare.

What is it about this German rubbish that attracts buyers ?

Well my point was more around why should the owner of an Hyundai suffer instead of someone owning an Audi or any other car for that matter.

The snob nosed Karen at the car wash who went “complete Karen” when the Mustang was washed / completed before her Audi (her car was dropped of earlier).

It’s a certain demographic for sure.

I've always thought high end cars get hijacked because there is little to zero chance of them being a manual. Get in and go. And the drivers of those cars typically won't be carrying a baseball bat under the seat to cause any issues.

Comes down to risk vs reward.

And I guess if you are going to go out, then go out in style.

Why ?

For some reason people seem to think these overrated/overpriced/rebadged VWs are better than any 'normal" car like a Toyota/Mazda/Hyundai etc.

I didn't include M/Benz because some of their top-line models are actually good cars

This one was a nephew of either the shooter or the shootee from the other day.
A woman asked why didn't the police stop it. They're happy to live outside the law but then complain when the police seemingly do nothing.

WRT the current crop of fools, I can see two possible legal positions that might shift the balance. Resume the cancellation of citizenship and deporting, and perpetually exclude from interment at Rookwood, anyone who has been committed to stand trial, but that trial has not commenced.

Judges need treatment preferably with a 4 x 2
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving occasioning death, but went on trial for a more serious charge which he was cleared of. Xerri faced a maximum of 10 years jail but was sentenced to two years and four months behind bars as Judge Leonie Flannery accepted his admission of remorse. what the F*** is wrong with judges.
