Default Ve Ute

I may be a bit bias but I've seen the new Ve ute and I think it looks crap!
short & sweet!

It reminds me of one of those subaru brumby utes for some reason, must be the back of it! seems very short in the tray area.

Yeah, rear end just looks totally wrong in my eyes.... The lights look thrown on, rather than integrated...

Yeah don't like it either, the previous model SS utes looked way better. THe Omega is hilarious with the massive flared wheel arches and what look like 16 inch steelies.

I agree with the brumby thing, perhaps one of those little proton attempts at the brumby. The rear looks totally retarded.

Load capacity has dropped over 100kg to 500-something. Very poor.

The rear lights are very ugly, not being biased; I don't mind the VE Sedan so much any more, but that ute rear is UGLY.

Orion Ute is gonna own this thing.

Im not a fan of it either. The back of it looks very wrong with the lights, number plate etc. Ill be sticking with my xr8 ute till ford bring out there next ute or ill just wait for the new motors down the track.
There still doesnt look that much room behind the seats in the VE either......... have to wait to see it in the flesh

Some shots are horrid, and some are ok. Atleast they have changed the rear end, ute rear ends have been the same since the 80's pretty much.

Yes, and they still look horrible! :

I don't like how the tub goes up on slight inclince and how the back window does the complete same. I like Fords keep it simple flat style and Ford Utes are better then any.

hmm the rear looks like a mix of Territory and AU Fairlane. Im not surprised or wow-ed by the VE ute. VU-Z much nicer. Its fresh and will sell well, seeing all the different colored utes together makes them look a little...wacky!

I don't like it either. The tray looks too short and the back looks weird. No doubt it'll still sell like hotcakes though.
