Would one of the Phenolic (spellin) spacers lift it enough to clear ?

Do you have aftermarket rocker covers on it. when i put my au motor in my eb i put sheet metal rocker covers on and the plenum wouldn't fit without a 1in spacer, fits under the eb bonnet no probs. throw standard covers on if this is the issue and it should clear.
