Man!!! I had a blown globe lastnight, these are the original set when I had bought the vehicle. I had replaced all the globes when I got home but the Nava Intense set had one blow ages ago and as they're a white light colour temp I put the original set in.
This time I'm not buying another $80-100 set, after looking a SCA and Repco sales catalogue I decided to try out the cheapest so Repco H7 Plus30 for $16ea. Bought two and they're fitted will see how I go on these for light and longevity. At least if on blows I'll have the original halogen for the spare if it doesn't look off. (obviously Repco don't manufacture bulbs themselves but there's no marking to see whom makes them, they look nearly identical to the German made Phillips original. Difference being the terminals in how they're affixed, Phillips pressed and Repco seem to be soldered.)

Could be worse, as a favour I changed a headlight lamp for a client (no I dont work with cars) and a generic repco 55w halogen for a vy holden (a j11) was $55 for a single. Halogens output a lot of heat so be careful and never touch the glass. The oils from your skin make them heat up unevenly and the glass can crack.

Best to use globes with thicker elements, as used in trucks.
I've 200000km on the same globes, oem. Next globes will be the cheapest, I'd rather see where I'm going than dazzle them in front. |

that's the interesting bit, side by side, identical, down to the glass tube diameter, element ([to the eye] even down to the angles of the legs). I hope the Repco set do alright personally. ivorya that's a good site I'll have to bookmark it for later.

If I remember correctly, OE are Philips long life bulbs.
I've tried Philips and Osram high ouput bulbs. Philips last about twice as long.
