Default E series falcon motor into cortina..

Hey there, I had this forum recommended to me by a fella on another forum regarding my questions there about engine conversion on a TE cortina.
Basically I want to fit the big inline 6 from the EF/EL falcon but don't know how involved the conversion will be. Has anyone on here done this before? I'm imagining mounts would have to be fully custom made..
Also, I'd like a matching manual gearbox - which one should I be looking for, and will there be any clearance issues in the cortina tunnel? Keep in mind that this is a budget exercise so; easily sourced parts with no exotic gearbox suggestions..
