Does anyone have any Genuine AU weathersheilds laying around that they don't want anymore ?.
Also how do they attach to the vehicle ?. |

yeah i know of a pair, but the car comes with it :(

Thank's mate, I assume they attach by double sided tape but I want to know if they go under the rubber seal and the tape attaches there, or does it attach to the paintwork, the main purpose of knowing this is if I decide to remove them in the future will they leave damage if they have been attached to the paintwork ?.

Check Bayford Parts on Ebay, they have a lot of genuine Ford stuff from the AU era listed at the moment.
As for the fitting, from memory the double sided tape attaches them to the rubber on the door around the window so if you take them off there would be a mark.

They are attached by double side tape on paint work. (Red arrows and line).
There are three metal clips that sit on the black rubber on the window edge (Shown by Yellow arrows). Hope that helps.

kitbag is right
also you can remove them no problems, it doesn't leave a mark. a bit of good car polish is all you need to remove any residual glue.

I have the slimline ones. Attatches the same as shown above, but just with the doublesided tape. This pic is the closest I have to show

I have slimline's on my corolla and they're not as good as fullsizers, but still about 3000 times better than not having any

They would be handy to have when it's in summer and it's muggy ouside but slight drizzle, just enough to let some fresh air in and keep the rain out and stop the window's from foging up aswell.
