I have "JONMAR" plates on the Territory .... but that's the name of our Arabian Show horse stud ... and the Territory is the tow vehicle to the shows.

I was toying with the idea of getting CAR 187 for the AU ute (as that's my car number in the courier fleet) ... Yes I was bored at the time when thinking that one up.

Was also thinking of BBQBNR for it too ... LOL

Hi Tori,
I'll fit them for you. (Too bad that I'm a grumpy 40yo)
How about my twin 17 yo blue eyed blonde headed sons get into some speedos while I fit them.

Seriously, they're easy to fit. I've had to do some for Ferraris and Rollers, so I can't imagine a Ford giving me troubles.
H'mmmmmm, a box of VB stubs should cover it.

I got a set of custom plates for my 21st in June this year... MELSXB. There black and white, so they suit the era of my car. They look so good on my car (but of course i would say that!! hehe)

When I bought my BA XR6 new the RTA issued random yellow/black plates to me. Funnily enough they were YNV-406. Using my imagination this was "Why envy 4.0L 6"

Quite a freak occurence i thought. I changed them any way to my personalised black and whites the week after the car was delivered.

I know that you pay $395 in Vic for the personal plates. But does your yearly rego fee also increase because youve got personalized number plates?

Thanks you Paul

Here are mine, the build number of the car. I have been asked what I did with the other 2 kilowats, something I didn't think of when I got the plates.

My current one is:

The best I could take with a camera phone at the time...Before anyone says it lol, the tail lights are ok in the right light. At night they look excellent...especially with the red LED's.

Cheers, Tori

Go the next size up in bracket, and back with any material you like.
for eg. checker plate, carbon fibre, perspex sprayed black, or the colour of your car.........

My first personalized plates were on my HJ Tonner when I first got my P's. NOT253. Dosen't take much figuring out ;)

My XE Interceptor has, SEPTOR.

My VS Senator has HSV30, build number (came with it)

And I have personalized plates at home for when the project is finished, TTN208

Still trying to figure out something to call the XW. It has the original black and white plates KMJ723

Anyone?

Unfortunately I have sold the car, but I have kept the plates. Think I should have just kept the car and sold the plates instead, Hehe.

My plates are standard issue, but here's a few sightings:

TURBOXR (or was it XRTURBO) in Endeavour Hills (double take when I saw it was seven characters - we only get up to 6 in Victoria - and it turned out to be a NT plate).

TAXWIZ (on a 4Runner - shouldn't it have been a Merc?)
