Hi mate,

group buy has finished. At this stage we are regrouping and restocking parts as the volume of sales in a small amount of time threw us for a second, but we are nearly back on deck.

Let it be known that we will still endeavour to give local Boss fans the best Kenne Bell deal we can, please drop me a line and we can chat about what we can do to help get a KB between those shocker towers of yours at the best price possible.

Chris

Just thought I would give you guys an update on how this group buy install worked out for me.

Kit and the boys from GENTECH in Canberra performed an extremely neat and professional installation of the Kenne Bell Supercharger supplied by Blue Power.

Accompanied by a full Di Filippo exhaust system, they managed to squeeze out 389rkw of power !! All this from a previously stock standard BA MKII XR8.

The performamnce is unbelievable and I am still getting used to it.

Again, special thanks to Kit who kept me informed at all times and provided me with excellant service during installation, at handover, and after.

Great to hear JFK.......

We have been working with Gentech for some years now, and Kit and I have a great rapport and have learned much from each other regarding a wide variety of vehicles.

These guys do stand tall with their work on the Kenne Bell blown Bosses, and it thrills us to hear of your results, that is what we are all here for.

Congrats again,

Chris

390 on a stock engine is damn fine performance.

Go easy on the XR JFK, trust me when I say that at this power level, these cars can bite hard, seriously bite the hand that feed them! It has happened to me, and left me literally shaking from the experience, but no harm done.

Once the novelty of all that torque becomes less (for me, it took about 5000km) the mumbo becomes quite usable in a perfectly 'sociable' kind of way. I discovered after a few months that you simply don't need to row through the gears hard, or spin the engine above 4500rpm to make it go briskly, quicker than pretty much anything else on the road. And if you keep the revs under that level, unwanted, unnecessary attention is avoided, that’s always good policy.

Best of luck with it all mate, enjoy.

Thanks for the advice Tex. You are right, I struggled to put a couple of gear changes together as the speed was really surprising.

The beauty of this power is that it comes on straight away and you don't have to press the pedal to the floor. Kit explained this to me when we went for a trial run when I picked it up.

The rumble of the exhaust and that subtle whine certainly turns a few heads !!
