T3 TE50 Azzuros do come up from time to time. Ebay is worth watching. But be aware that there are quite a few variants between T2 & T3 and its not easy to tell the difference. Some are Brembo friendly, some are not. There is a thread in the T Series Appreciation Room http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...1240705&page=7

pages 7 & 8

Thanks for the reply guys. FTE-342, wow it’s nearly as clear as mud with Azzurro’s. There going on an AU XR8 so any of the types would be fine.
ThaFlash thanks for the offer. I drove BA XR8’s on 17’s. Could I trouble you for a picture of the 18’s. I’ve done a search on the net, but it’s throwing up all sorts of stuff.
Again thanks for the replies.

From memory you could get 17" & 18" in the non genuine wheels, also the groove in each spoke was about 1cm longer than original.
Nice clean set there too

Great contribution from everyone up there, the knowledge is well and truly disseminated, thank you.

I am only asking $999 for all 4.

And to be honest, I had them here for $1200 AFF Member price, then on the net for $1500, with no luck.

So I reckon $999 is reasonable, I suppose hehehe....

correct. Factory only 18. i thought the groove was "shorter" in the non genuine.(but could be wrong)
Factory 17's on XR8 would have been the same as factory 17" XR6 rims. (wide 5 spoke silver argent alloys.) factory on 02-early 03 XR8.

Sounds good. Where in, I take it, Melbourne are you so I can ring around and get some transport prices. I’m in Leeton NSW. Melbourne is only a bit over 5 hrs and I would normally drive down and pick them up.

XY Chaser: You are welcome to pick them up, I believe the borders between NSW and VIC will be open on the 13th November with no quarantining required for either state's residence.

As always, check with your local dictatorship, propaganda and state run media

I am in the sunny suburb of Frankston (VIC), the beginning of the Mornington Peninsula, you could make a day of it, with plenty to do around here. Everything has opened up. Bring your fishing rods and squid jigs and you'll be eating fresh calamari that night!

1x Wheel weighs 25.6 Kg according to the bathroom scales, they always show more than they should.

Estimated height (when laying flat) with bubble wrap will be 30cm, without bubble wrap they are 27cm.
Current diameter with tyres is 67cm, however with bubble wrap they will end up being square at roughly 70cm W X 70cm L.

Cheers

P.S. If the Transport Company has a depot within 20Ks from Frankston, I will drop them off there personally. TNT has one in Hallam, which I can do, no worries. Dandenong, Dandenong Sth. Clayton are other suburbs which may have depots and am happy to drive to.

Hi TheFlash. Sorry but I no longer need to buy your rims. Turns out a mate of a mate up here has a set of BA GT rims and tyres. Sorry to muck you around, I appreciate the trouble you went to though. Can’t understand why you would have trouble selling them, their a good looking set.
