Got the parts together to finish upgrading my housemate's Mazda 323's gauges. Snapped a couple of the needle drive rods yesterday, to it was nice to get it all sorted today.

Hee hee ... can never tire of that ... coming home after a night shift in the morning ... and my 2yo boy spots me and runs up to me for a hug with the biggest grin. Repeating DAD DAD DAD DAD the entire time.

Would rather not have this cold tho :(

Great game, I bought the box set a few years ago but haven't played it for ages, I'll have to install it again I think.
And Age of Empires, that's a good game too.

Well, I got in touch with my feminine side. I went shopping for curtains for my new unit. Windows measured, travel to Spotlight, spoke with a lovely young lady who helped me out. Material chosen, cut, rods and ends (very important) etc.Carried them home, put them together and hung them. To those of you renovating whole houses etc this may not seem all that great but for me and my 10 thumbs - bloody fantastic.

Cheers Vincenzo

I take pleasure in knowing it no longer enters the unit and anytime the possums find the rat in the ceiling they kick the ***** out of it and it runs away till they go and the circle of life continues.

Afetr 15 years as an Ambulance Officer someone suggested the same thing to me. I laughed at them but it turns out they were right and I used to teach First Aid out in the remote mine sites with great feedback results. Helped when I became a Defensive driving Instructor. Give it a go Dazzlr, you may surprise yourself. Just make sure you don't think you are at home alone and come out naked.

Might as well man its only a Cert IV in Training and Assessment required to teach at TAFE, at least in Vic anyway.

The auto electrical teacher where I went to trade school at was pulling $50/hour casually teaching and used the opportunity at trade school to ask us if we had fixed any problems on particular cars he was working on at his business

I went to give blood today as part of my monthly venesection (drawing blood) as my iron levels were through the roof. After getting the diagnosis that if I didn't do something my health (56 years old) and potentially my life are at risk, I decided several weeks ago to get myself sorted, so I have started a different diet regime, lost several KG's so far, exercising and swimming every day and my iron levels have dropped dramatically. So, up to this point I feel 100% better than I did just a month ago and to top if off, I went for a new job today, an hour later they range me and offered me the job with about $20k more than they were advertising. So, all-in-all, I am a happy camper today.

30 KLM ride up through the hills today with some fast 65klmh + descents. Makes you feel alive and on occasion fills your pants with poo poo on the bumps as you're trying not hang on and concentrate and go straight to avoid all the cracks and junk on side of road at speed ......

So this is kinda cool and made me feel good today. This is a tracker on the Optifast site. Red line is my projected weight loss for the intensive phase of the Optifast program. Blue line is my actual weight loss to date, with weekly weigh ins. Helps put into perspective, for myself, that I'm ******** smashing it

This doesn't include the 6kgs I lost before starting Optifast.
