Default In mourning

We will be taking a couple of days here to get our bearings after the tragic blow we recieved yesterday regarding the loss of our dear friend and associate Craig.

We ask that all forum members please understand that this is an incredibly difficult time, and please understand if we are not taking calls over this period.

With tears in our eyes and heavy hearts,

Chris, Bill, Theo, Shaun and the lads @ BPR.

To all the members of the forums that knew Craig. The girls and i would like to thank-you in advance for your support and friendship, Craig was one of a kind, he always gave with his heart and had all the time in the world for his friends. Always quick with a joke or a one liner from one of the many movies that he loved. After spending 20 years with Craig, with many a motor or car that needed fixing I know he is looking down on us, as we have heavy hearts and eyes full of tears. So the next time you go racing or for a cruize do it for Craig and make sure you pour him a drink of JIM BEAM and dont forget the Krispy Kreams.

Thanks once again Nereeda, Jacqueline & Vanessa xx

My heart goes out to Gaela and Craigs family and not least of all to you Chris for losing such a dear friend and colleague under such shocking and sad circumstances. Depression is such an insidious disease made worst by those that love you most not being given the opportunity to be there when most needed. There will always be feelings of guilt for those left behind, for all sorts of mixed reasons, which will take time to heal, but even in Craigs last troubled moments, his love for all of you and our love for him, will never be diminished.
Ian.

Our sympathies go to the family and friends of Craig.

Craig was always helpful and friendly in our dealings in the past.

I am sure he will be dearly missed in the industry and particulaly by his young children.

Very sad news. I really don't know what else to say but I ,my wife and the boys here at Elite are very sad to hear news like this.

It is the Month of Movenmber which helps raise money for Beyond Blue (Depression) and Prostate cancer research. If we are serious about helping people like Craig we should support these events. The lack of government funding and places for people like Craig to go to get help is nothing short of disgusting. My dad had depression and recently died of prostate cancer, when he had depression and was at risk of possible self halm the hospitals would send us home because they had no room. All we wanted was some help but they had no room. You had to say that you were going to kill yourself before they would take you serious. I don't know Craig but have lived thru the same journey thru my DAD and this is truely tragic. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family. When my DAD died all i was proud of was that he beat Depression and that it never got him, but instead a silent killer did CANCER.

Well said mate. I am doing Movember and raising just under $200.

In memory of Craig, maybe next AFF can do a Craigvember if OK with the family.

I never met Craig personally, only over the telephone. The very first impression was the one that showed through to the end....... energy, and a passion for all things fast.

I can see why the team at Bluepower will feel this pain for some time to come, and though we cannot all be there to support you, we can pass on our thoughts to family and friends.

The time to say goodbye is almost upon us.

RIP Craig.
