the newly aquired '14 Forrester needs an upgrade on the SD map reader card.
$350 odd from Subaru and thats 2018 they stopped upgrading. option 1; use google maps yes except wife (whose car it is) does not have internet on her ph. option 2; android auto, yes more expensive to buy and set up but everything is there and upgraded very easy. We prefer to have a head unit that fits into dash (double din) so recommend a good brand etc please

Aerpro. Not cheap but you can fit the head unit of your choice into them.
