Question Pinto EFI

Im looking for information on upgrading my 71 capri to efi and what is available for a 2ltr pinto engine. If you have an efi unit for this engine for sale, know of where to get one or any other ideas, please let me know. Cheers :

Where abouts are you? There's a bloke in Brisbane who imports the 2ltr engines from UK with the 105 block, very strong. They come with EFI (Bosch, from memory). My nephew bought one a while back & we rebuilt it (only needed rings & bearings) & put it in an Esky. He paid about $1300 & this included complete engine, EFI system, computer, 5-speed gearbox (complete with clutch & shifter). Good value.

Lots of people who are in the RS owners club would be able to point you in the right direction, have a look at http://www.rsocvic.com/

EDIT: http://www.rsocvic.com/rsocmerch.htm#classifieds might come in particularly handy

If your in Victoria you could give the boys at Ford Four a call. They have the manifolds and every thing of the 205 motor. Then just buy an aftermarket injection system and you will get some good power.
