I may not agree with the XB GT 4V 4sp numbers.
Why well I have that only 2 such Hardtop were such and 6 sedan were such. for real.
I thought them 4V were all gone by October. due to a ADR.
As the HQ 350 4sp was gone by Aug Sep 1973 and from then on only automatic with another 350 that was even more gutless again and the Valiant VJ Charger E55 340 V8 was gone about then I believe.
And that 351 4V autos were gone before July 1972 as no Hardtop 4V auto I have been led to believe.

XB GT sedan 1973
July one sedan and one Hardtop made
Aug one sedan
Sep 5 sedan and one Hardtop
Oct 42 sedan and 41 Hardtop
Nov 137 sedan and 75 Hardtop and I do not think Nov were 4V 351. but maybe they were.

Could someone have all the F100 F250 350 and such 4X4 Production numbers from 1974 on.

Thank you foe the information..
Assuming not many left on the road ,have been considering restoration, but would not know where to start...so far new shocks new exhaust, new tyres, new alt, battery, new air-conditioning new brakes, new sway bar bushes. Body fairly straight. Need a new boot and spoiler. Then new paint to top off..the list is getting bigger lol.

How many TF Cortina 4.1L 4speeds ? Alloy head ! were made ?

I think the TF 4cyl 2.0L came out first then the 6 cyl came out later.

2.0L April 1980 and 6cyl came out Sep 1980 too maybe Jan 1982 ?

The TF Cortina was well priced to the VC Commodores but the Commodores just sold like hot cakes. even tho the Cortina 2.0L was so much better than the Commodore Moonglow 1.9L 4cyl rubbish.

Why would anyone buy a 1.9L VC-H when Cortina had the 2.0L TF.

There was 178,000 odd XD sedans & wagons produced. Should imagine a V8 manual Fairmont wagon would be pretty rare beast if indeed there were any produced.

Yeah so am I. The site that stated 8500ish said the manual was a option but also stated all NL's came with a LSD which I know ain't true

69 XH manual panel vans. Along with 155 XGs (138 of which were white), they are rare beasts. I need one in my life to complement my ute.

The last factory manual Fairlane was the ZG Custom, finishing production in 1976.

For the EF-EL Generation, these were the cars you could get in manual:

- GLi (I6 only - V8s were auto only - 9661 XH GLi's were made with 2905 being manual, 1612 were white)
- Futura (I6 only - V8s were auto only - all Futuras were auto for AU)
- XR6 sedan
- XR8 sedan

No Fairmonts, Fairlanes or LTDs were manual at all by this point, and never would be again.

As for the XH Utes:

- GLi (including Outback, Tradesman - all GLi's were I6)
- S (I6 only - there was a XH2 V8S that was floor auto only)
- XR6
- XR8 (XH Mk2 only, there was no XH1 XR8, from memory about half of XH XR8s were manual, around 300 or so).

On average they were making about 2000-2500 Fairlanes a year around that point. That number seems too high, unless they are also counting NF's as well.

You should be able to search the sales numbers of the NL Fairlane per year, i've seen them around before.

I tried that, it just came up with ever so trustworthy wiki stating 4100 for each year (96,97,98) it where I got the 12000ish from,

There were 51,065 AU Series I Forte Sedans (18933).
Of that, 286 were 4.0 5SM.

Hi FLCN67,

There were 511 XP Futura sedans produced in 1965:

XP Futura 170ci manual - 78
XP Futura 170ci auto - 237
XP Futura 200ci auto - 196

There was one unit built in 1964 (a 200ci auto) as a test build at Broadmeadows.

I don’t have the breakdown of colours. I doubt if Ford even has that data from pre-computer times.

Cheers

Hi Yearby,

There were 89 XP Squire Wagons produced in 1965:

170ci manual - 21
170ci auto - 35
200ci auto - 33

There was also 2 test build units in 1964.

There was 4 XM Squire wagons built in 1965, which might explain the number you have.

Cheers
