Default AU T-Bar shifter

Guys,

Is the AU T-Bar button reusable once removed from the T-Bar or once removed they are obsolete and need to be replaced new?

There is a small phillips head screw that faces the dash on the selector that needs to be removed and then the whole assembly will slide up.

The button can then be removed - it is also spring loaded.

How is the button removed once it slides off the shifter, sorry I own a manual and I am not familiar with the auto shifter.

Did this on my old work ute when i got a chrome button and put it in my Mom auto shifter at the time.
