Got a problem with my carbie, just rebuilt it with a full kit and put it on the car and it just started up and screamed off its tits no throttle so stopped it and then as soon as it stops or the revs die it pours fuel out of the trumpets
if anyones got any idea what the problem is im interested to know how to fix it :( |

sorry im not a carby expert and little people are these days but sounds like somehting is seriously wrong
very hard 2 understand... it pours fuel out when the engine rpms lower? |

is the float level set at the right height???
this might be another thing just to check, was talking to a mate and he said that a guy he knew put the auxilary venturis in the wrong way and it ran like a dog, was spitting fuel out absolutely everywhere. just maybe check that... Dont spose you have a spare single sidedraft manifold to suit a crossflow?? cheers |

no sorry dont have a spare, trying to get this thing working if i had a spare it would be in ahah, ill give it a go looking at the venturis
