getting desperate for a single sidedraft manifold to suit a 45mm sidedraft carburetor.

im in tas. any help locating on would be a great help.

if your really getting desperate i think you should look into making one yourself or getting one made...aslong as you know how to weld aluminium it can be easy

would be next to impossible i reckon, they are just too highly engineered. to get the flow even for every cylinder would be a nightmare.

if worst came to worst would have to but still on the look out.

i think even if you found a manifold, which i highly doubt were ever made. getting even fuel to each cylinder would be an issue. being side draft. i was thinking of doing a twin 45mm downdraft manifold. which would ensure much more even fuel distribution.

I had one a few years ago which I sold to a mate for his Capri. They are available new thru ET Performance in Victoria, but are very expensive. They also don't like dealing with the public so they make you deal with the spotty little twats at Autobarn who don't even know what an Escort or Cortina is let alone a crossflow.
Twin 45mm downdrafts done exist. I think you are thinking of twin 44IDFs which were used on the works RS2000s.....Which had a pinto, not a crossflow.
