Default AU SS induction ,,is it worth the money??

hi all , just looking at upgrading my intake on my xr8 but wanting to keep the standard air box , has anyone used the ss induction 3 piece snorkel kit? is it worth the upgrade, do you notice the performance upgrade?

I personally wouldnt spend $300. i would get some 3" piping and build a CAI pipe, from TB into the stock box and cut a hole in the front of your box for extra air.

Or buy an aftermarket box, get the 3" CAI pipe and direct the pipe into the box with a pod on the end of it.

both less than $300 and more effective

I had one installed in mine a few years ago, they work very well indeed, a noticeable increase in overall performance. I noticed the improvement straight away, no placebo here.

As far as worth goes that's subjective, to me it was worth it, hope this is of assistance to you.

No, not worth it, but looks good, and sound increase (if you like that sort of thing) is good too.

I reckon if you got one for the right price (maybe $100-150) then yeah give it a go, if not there are better options for the price.
