Entry and Registration The All Ford Day Committee has introduced a pre-registration and payment system for all show cars for 2009. This will enable quicker entry to the site because there will be no collection of money or judging forms on entry to the show car arena. The show car arena has a capacity of 1250 vehicles. All preregistered cars will have direct access to the show car arena. The number of non preregistered cars that attend on the day will be 1250 less the number of preregistered cars · Preregistered cars will have direct access to the show car arena · Non preregistered cars that attend on the day will be directed to the registration area before entering the show car arena · Entry to show car arena will open at 7:30 am · All cars to be judged must be on the show car arena by 9:30 am. If you are registering on the day allow sufficient time to register and then enter show car arena by 9:30 am · All ‘display only’ cars to be on the show car arena by 10:00 am PREREGISTRATION ENTRY FEE - $20.00 REGISTRATION ON THE DAY – $30.00 CASH ONLY Once you preregister the information provided on your form will be keyed into a database. Lists of all cars to be judged will be created by category thus streamlining the process and simplifying matters for judges. All persons who preregister their car will receive in the mail, after the last day to preregister, a preregistration pack which will include receipt, and a colour coded prepaid identification sticker which must be affixed to the outside windscreen of the car. This will confirm preregistration and enable marshals to direct car to the correct area of the show car arena. Cars will only be allowed into the areas as identified by sticker colour. If you provide an email address on the preregistration form a confirmation email will be sent once preregistration has been processed. Preregistration will close on Friday January 30 2009. Preregistration will not be valid until payment received. Preregistered show cars with payment - $20.00 Late Entry (on the day) - $30.00 (CASH ONLY) A preregistration form can be · Downloaded, from www.allfordday.com.au completed, saved and emailed to admin@allfordday.org.au OR · Downloaded, completed and posted to AFD Registrations, PO Box 429, Geelong, Vic 3220 OR · Downloaded, completed and faxed to 03 52441574 Payment Options · Credit Card – complete details on preregistration form · Cheque / Money order-payable to AFD Inc and posted to AFD Registrations, PO Box 429, Geelong, Vic 3220 · Electronic Funds transfer – details on preregistration form Payment must be completed at time of preregistration. Preregistration will not be valid until payment received. You must indicate on the preregistration form the method of payment. If paying by EFT it is imperative that you provide a reference for the transaction which must be the car registration n umber: eg ABC123 or JOSCAR etc. The reference number must be on your preregistration form. This is the only way that we can match your payment with your form. Car Clubs Car club sites will available for all club members who preregister. Members must indicate their club and membership number on the preregistration form. Clubs can preregister and pay for members in bulk BUT must provide a preregistration form for each car and full payment to match the number of preregistrations OR enter the information into an Excel spreadsheet. Preregistration forms can be lodged by email or hardcopy. If car club is paying by Electronic Funds Transfer the reference should be the car club name. Public Liability Due to Public Liability Insurance Requirements, your attention is drawn to the following: · There shall be NO MOVEMENT of motor vehicles in the show car arena during the official open time ie 10:00 am til 3:00 pm. Therefore we ask that you remain on the grounds until 3:00 pm. Gates will be closed until the completion of the Trophy Presentation Ceremony. · Dogs are NOT permitted at the event Commemorative Badge A limited number of metal All Ford Day 2009 badges will be made. A minimum of 500 badges will be made available to cars that preregister in order of receipt of preregistration. A voucher for the badge will be in the preregistration pack. Badges are to be collected from the Kiwanis tent on the day before midday. yes that is a good thing if they inforce it. i like the pre-registration it should streamline entry
wish they had a propper class for my car instead of non category (leftovers)
