all details to be confirmed tomorrow.....
it looks like we will have 15 spots & the cost will be the same as last year, $50 entry fee & $50 for a AASA licence. there is a drivers breifing at 9am, all entrants need to be there for this. DECA NOW REQUIRES HELMETS TO BE WORN FOR ALL EVENTS this includes on the skidpan

depends if you want to buy or borrow, i motorbike shop should have a cheapy for around $90 or if you know your size get 1 of ebay cheaper

on the HSV website they say helmets have to be worn at DECA now, in the past they had to be worn on the back circuit so i preclude that it now means they have to be worn on the skidpan also.
James, up to 4 entries can share the same car but each driver is counted as a seperate entry

depends how fat their heads are, might need a shoe horn to squish them in though.
provided your not in the car on track at the same time it's ok

Got me a helmet , so car goes into Autoworks on Saturday to get the front brakes sorted. Then a quick clean in the arvo.

Yeah I always have my camera's on hand, But is hard to shoot and be ready in the car all the time. Maybe I can setup my camera somewhere and ORSMXT has his. And I'll merge the 2 footages into a single DVD for everyone.

i was just having a look at the hsv entry form and it says some stuff about cars being in roadworthy condition and a noise limit.
just a little concerned about my mates car being a bit in breach of these things (little low, little loud). does anyone know how strict they will be about these rules? just incase he has to tidy some things up. matt |

if he drives it on the road it & doesn't get overly hasseled it should be ok

Was gonna join in on this but it seem I have clutch issues after last weekend at Heathcote. As soon as I give it ANY torque it slips, NO TORQUE, NO DRIFT, NO GO!! May be comin up with Theo to help out and watch but we'll see what happens. If I can't come have fun everyone.
