hey there everyone!
here are some more pics. as you can see there's a lot of work to be done, but we've come out quite well. i'm currently in the process of using turps to get rid of the black sticky paint like substance that was used as a general interior spray. eek!

though it did come with performance superlite tyres...

as for history, not too sure on any of that... it's a factory 2L, auto, ghia sedan. we're just about to go outside and do an inventory and see what else we need to do to it..

so far we've managed to get the bonnet cable to work, so no more need for bonnet pins...

and congrats minge on your new acquirement

Looks quite tidy too. How long until its painted blue to match the others? :P

Good luck getting that interior paint off Belinda, it's nasty stuff, you should be making Shane do stuff like that! :P

we did toy with the idea of painting it blue, just to match the others :P but have since been trying to chase up a copy of the original colour charts so we can go with something somewhat 'original'.... if all else fails... a nice wild plum sort of colour maybe? heehee. i

bonnet pins.. i'm not 100% sold on them, though shane likes them, so i think they'll be staying for now... and yep, there are holes in the bonnet for them...

the interior paint just looks like spray paint... it's horrible.. though sitting the car in the sun for a few hours helps to soften it up and make the job of getting it off (turps and a rag) much easier...

having said that though... it now has full fuses, and a rear vision mirror :P

someone's played with the wiring at some stage as the blinkers make the tail lights blink, not the blinkers :P

will post a picture of the mess of the interior once i get the most of the play spray paint off the inside :P

Tail lights blinking - check the earth wire for the rear harness - from memory two black wires swaged to an eye terminal bolted to the rear beaver panel inside the boot near the fuel filler hose cover. If this is not connected or making proper contact the lights try to earth back thorugh the harness......

Cheers
