Default how much? easy question please help!

ive misplaced both of my workshop manuals for my escort and the 2 litre

just wondering how much oil the 2 litre takes?

and its been sitting for a while so:

what oil should i use to "run it in"

and what oil should i use after that?

grade and brand.

Holds about 3.5lt with filter, but I used to put about 3.7lt in as my old RS used to leak/burn a bit. 20W/40 grade oil.
