Hi,
Are all three warning lights Seatbelt-Brake-Alternator supposed to light up when you turn on your ignition before starting. I noticed only two seem to light up. Cheers Jack

I'm pretty sure I only get the alternator one light up so I'm curious as well. I haven't checked anything yet though

Alt lights up before starting
Seat belt should light up for a short time. (5-10 sec's) mine will sometimes. Brake light will anly light up if you have a problem with the brake system. |

Brake light will come on as a self test when you turn the ignition on... unless you turn it off and on again in a short period of time (within a few seconds).
If the brake light doesnt come on with the ignition you have NO way of knowing the light works...

Yeah its the brake light that doesn't light up.

The brake light only lights up while cranking, if it stays on then your fluid is low.

Pull the plug and bridge the pins and the light should work. If not there maybe a connection problem in the loom somewhere.
When there is an imbalance between the front & rear brakes the switch mounted in the master will activate. Cheers Kerry |

Just unplugging it should make the light come on.

Bumping an old thread, does anyone have a photo of the seat belt light relay.??
Think it's a long thin metal relay.? My light is coming on when I press the horn.

Yeah, was thinking the earth/ground. Trouble is it's intermittent, sometimes I press the horn and it beeps, other times the seatbelt light comes on.... will continue exploring.
