THE MID NORTH COAST FORD OWNERS CLUB WILL BE HOLDING A CRUISE TO GINGERS CREEK ON THE 30TH OF MARCH, WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE MOUNTAINS BETWEEN WAUCHOPE AND WALCHA. WE WILL BE MEETING AT THE FOOD FOR LESS CARPARK IN PORT MACQUARIE AT 10.00AM AND DEPARTING AT 10.30AM. WE WILL THEN CRUISE DOWN THE OXLEY HIGHWAY INTO WAUCHOPE AND THEN STOP AT TIMBERTOWN CARPARK AT 10.50AM, WE WILL THEN DEPART AT APROX 11.00 FOR GINGERS CREEK. WE SHOULD ARRIVE AT GINGERS CREEK AT APROX 11.45. THE CLUB TRAILOR WILL NOT BE BROUGHT ALONG FOR THIS TRIP, THERE IS A VERY WELL SUPPLYED SHOP WHICH SELLS TAKE AWAY FOOD AND DRINKS. SO YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS, OR YOU CAN BRING ALONG YOUR OWN.THERE IS SEATING AND SHADE AVAILABLE. PLEASE NOTE.....I STRONGLY RECOMEND THAT YOU HAVE YOUR VEHICLE INSPECTED FOR SAFTEY (EG STEERING,SUSPENSION,AND BRAKES) AS THIS DRIVE IS THROUGH VERY WINDY AND STEEP HILLS. AND A FULL TANK IS RECOMENDED TO START WITH. THIS IS MY FAVORITE CRUISE AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS ONE. ENJOY THE PICS FROM LAST YEARS CRUISE TO GINGERS CREEK.

Sorry guys, so disapointed, i cannot make this run. I have a selection / training day in Sydney for the NSW indoor cricket squad. I am going to have to wait for my favorite cruise next year. Mim is still deciding if she is going to go on the cruise or come down to Sydney with me.

G'day,
We conducted our annual Gingers Creek run today. We had some beautiful cars turn out for the event. A special mention is being given to Eric and his beautiful xy rep, It was nice to see and great sounding. Also we had some visitors in Shayne (shaynet) and Rob (t3stoker) from down south, Excellent to see people willing to travel to a great event. Anyrate, the run commenced with 11 cars making the grid and we left at 11am from wauchope and proceeded west along the thunderbolts way. Went thru the town of Long Flat and proceeded up the hill. The cars were divide into 2 for the blokes that wanted fuel consumption nightmares at the front and people out enjoying the nice warm day. We got to gingers creek and had a wonderfull Burger ( rob reckons is too big) and had a nice chat to all that were there. The group said it's good byes to others that were departing and then made the slow trip down the hill. Alan cliff's driving was nailbiting on the way down with brakes getting a hiding  : . Neil blew a tyre around Long Flat and we finally got to wauchope for a beer and a last chat. Good to see julies new tyres : and harry's car getting in with the young ones too.
