Ran into this while looking for Russian military stuff..

Severodvinsk Shipyards, quite a collection of naval hardware there, but I thought this was quite a good shot, shows just how big the Typhoon SSBN's are.

Here's a couple of interesting spots I have found....
37 06'37.89" N 116 02'43.87 W - The Most bombed piece of real estate on the face of the planet (Nevada Test site saw over 1000 of the 2400 odd atomic weapons tests) All of the circles in the area are bomb craters. The largest (The Sedan crater) 37 10'37.37 N 116 02'44.17 W was created with a 104Kt shot during operation Plowshare to investigate 'engineering' applications for atomic weapons to be used for civil construction purposes. The hole is 1800ft across & 300ft deep.
33 48'07.03" S 150 50'47.73" E Australias Wonderland. (shows just how up to date google earth maps are... Slightly to the east is Eastern Creek.
34 00'23.19" S 150 44'01.55 E is Oran Park.
I have a lot more but they'll do for the moment.

go to the menu and 'check for updates'

you have to download the whole program again and reinstall, it's not just a 'patch' as such. well that's the way it was a few months back anyway..
