Default RWC in SA

Is there a need for RWC cert to transfer a vehicle registration (when buying a car) in SA?

I've been looking on Transport SA website and it doesnt say anything about RWC apart from car being modified, written off, etc.

It's pretty lax here in SA. No rwc but if your car gets a regency defect then you could never get it back on the road. Depends of course on what needs fixing.

Gee SA is lax...
- No RWC
- No mandatory license disqualification unless you're over by 45km/h (in Nazi Victoria, just 25km/h over lands a 1mth mandatory sentence and this is easily done in an overtakiing manoeuvre)

Is there anything else about SA I don't know

It's boring, has no dragstrip, pretty poor 2nd hand car market, and is full of commo hoons cruising between the city and the bay Friday and Saturday night on AIR...I mean Anzac international raceway...

That had an accident near there during the week, whereby a poor motorist died driving an XR8, because they were speeding and side swiped a truck, which then put them into a tree.

Otherwise, no roadies in S.A

no RWC's... if you are wanting to get an interstate vehicle changed over to SA rego just book it in and they do the basic engine numbers check etc...

I beg to differ. There is a drag strip. It's in Whyalla and is the only strip in the country that is actually privately owned by the drag club in Whyalla. But it is only an 8th mile track though.

True BB, except with whyalla it's a massive hike up there, and as you said a 1/4 mile strip is what we need.

Well, 1/4 Mile's can be done at the new Tailem Bend park, but you can't get two cars side by side yet.

Very true - the amount of customers that I have come in that have had a defect and I dont bother taking their money to fix the problem because one look at their car tells me Regency are going to have a field day with them, and in the end the cost of repairs will far outway the value of their car.

you dont even need to book it in, just be there early (opens 9am) and line up, there's another inspection station at lonsdale too
they check engine number, vin number and a quick walk around and check the lights arent broken, then u can park it and walk into the office and reregister it

You should see the western suburbs of Melbourne. Not a day goes by where I don't see 'SA - The Festival State' on some sort of 4wd, E-series falcon or VR/VS commodore.

VR/VS commo's are the drug runners froms the NORTHERN SUBURBS (As they say on the news) I wish they would just say the location straight up we all know where they are talking about lol.
