Theres not too much you can do about it though, maybe try a stock fuel pressure regulator, or get a Chiptorque chip for about $600 that will flatline it in the optimum area. Unichip will do it too... but at $1200 its a bit more expensive.
The AFR on my graph looks pretty bad then..

yours isn't too bad at all Goran, bugger I'm having trouble getting my attachment up but yours is close to 12.6, once I get mine up you'll see I'm on 12.8.

Thanks for the responses guys, it appears the chip would definitely be the way to go. I think I will hang out for edit though, I had a long chat to Danny on the day from SCT and I think this is definitely the path I am going to go down. Combined with a decent exhaust it should be good for at least 175 at the wheels.

What diff was in it at the time?
If its the original diff its been done in 2nd. A 3.45 will run to about 130kph in 2nd, well past 160kph in 3rd. So if thats a stock falcon diff (3.08 or 3.23) than the kph say 2nd gear.

Nah, 3'rd wont go to 190 with 3.45's. Maybe 170, 180 tops. I've never ran third right out and looked at its shift point. At that sort of speed I'd be keeping my eyes on the road.

Meh I dont know whats up with it. The 4th gear does wierd stuff when accelerating but that only happens after Im off the clock so I cant be sure what speed it starts to happen. In the northern territory of course.

Well I have tried to run third right out (on a private test track of course)

AND interestingly although I can hold 2nd to the rev limiter at 150k at 180k in third it changes into fourth and then stops at the speed limiter. Slightly more gracefully then the rev limiter at 150k in second.

Well, this is mine. Run in 3rd gear and the lesser of the 2 runs (I asked for run 2, unfortunatly I forgot I had 3 runs because of the auto shift spiking the first run) so its 1rwkw less than what I had run but thats minor.

I think the main thing with it is the A/F ratio. An almost flat line across the page.

The only mods from factory are Pacemaker4499 extractors redback centre muffler 21/2 pipes with my old standed rear muffler fitted back as the noise of the hotdog resinator made to much noise and a BMC A/filter which I personally think are a wast of money a total cost of about $700. The car gives good highway performance but average of the mark.

Then the answer might be in the ECU?
By the way Paul that V8 BA Ghia of yours really sounds the goods on the dyno. The new Gen of Ford V8 mtrs sound a lot louder in the rev dept than the windsors.

At a car club meet earlier this month and showed a few of the guys there my dyno sheet. One of the guys thinks that by looking at the sheet the ecu has had the tranny shift up a gear at approx 160kmh as the dips in the readout look as if its changing between gears?
