Luke: "Why don't you have more power, dammit?!?" (we're not sure if he's talking to the car or to the bulge in his pants)

Beauty shot

It was a good run, despite all the bloody Sunday drivers. Not having laid eyes on the course until the day itself, I held back a bit (they thought I wasn't pushing hard enough). I chose to be "tail-end Charlie" on the run so I could watch what they were doing. I think I managed ok. The only thing that marred my experience was my damned hazard lights playing up again (I mentioned the problem in an earlier thread). Every time I hit a rough or bumpy patch, the effing things would flash, distracting me and the others.

The experience was well worth the hour's drive from the western burbs. I'd do it again in a heartbeat (if the wife lets me!)

Thank you Luke for organising this; it was good to meet you guys. I bet it was a bit of a shock for you to meet a Chinese-looking Filipino who speaks like a bloody Yank!
