Looks great mate. What % tint did you get? Which 17's are you getting aftermarket or the opt from Ford? A really nice set of aftermarket somthing maybe black would look hot as.

Cheers buddy. It's the darkest legal tint you can get in QLD, but I'm not 100% sure exactly what percent. The Ford alloys look wonderful, but I'm still trying to hunt for some Verve-alike wheels, from the Verce concept. A nice lashing of chrome would make it look sweet. But as you said mate, with the new tint I'm liking the idea of some black rims...Mmmmmm.

Chucks, thanks for the comments guys.

Twinpiston: Crap, I forgot to ring I'll do it shortly. My bad. Thanks for all your work though, $130 a tyre AWESOME. Will ring soon.
Scoobie: Me like the Monotune Fiesta. Pitty we can't get the engine upgrade too.
Black Betty: Those Vapor rims look sweet.
Fi.es.ta: Thanks man, I think I'll definitly go with black now hey.
Zetec Dave: Cheers man! How's your little rig going, got any pictures of her yet?

Does anyone know of a decent rim simulator? Perhaps one you can upload a picture of your car and play around with the rims? If such a thing exists. :

LOL. Two Fiestas (my WP Zetec and WS Zetec) is more than enough for me. Was replying to Zetec Dave's post, as he picked up his Zetec last Friday and he has had crap weather. Seems to be a trend...

Was told $190 for the darn knob and then another $220 to fit it cause it takes a good hour and a half to fit it due to the wiring involved. Its the fitting that's keeping me back. Just can't justify the cost of instal being more expensive than the product itself particularly wen the product was originally around $120-130?

about a few things for the car and they told me they would'nt be able to get the stuff for atleast 3yr's untill ford lifts the green flag for other manufactures to make the accessories :

Hey I've just noticed that you've got the white apple logo on the back of the car. Nice match mate especially with the colour of your car with apple products. LOL...

There are some aftermarket parts but at this stage only the cheap HK stuff that most avoid.

Still, I've ordered a few bits and pieces and if they seem like rubbis they didn't cost much

Haha. Cheers buddy. Yeah, my love of the Fiesta is only equalled by my love of my iPhone and collection of iPods! I have it on the WP Fez too, and I am noticing more and more cars are getting them. My aunt has a 2009 Swift, and since Apple-ising her car we have counted about 10 other cars in the area with the Apple logo on them! : : :

As for the illuminated gear lever, it looks like a pain in the behind to install. It connects up under the driver seat according to my manual. I havn't even tried fitting it yet, or the illuminated scruff plates. I recon they are a bit gimicky actually now...

Thanks buddy, yeah I recon I got the best colour. I really like the Moondust though! Squeeze looks better on non-body kit Fiestas, looks off on the Zetec. I'm in Newtown, but yeah my WP is a common site in Toowoomba, has an Apple logo on the back. No doubt you've come accross me, I probably cut you off or something! That or I tried to drag you!

They look pretty sweet together hey ZetecD.

wow so you have the WS and the XR4 Rapidtyphoon!

must be great fun hammering the xr4 up the big hill ( and down ) leading up to Toowoomba, my parents used to live there for a couple of years and the trip from Brisbane to and back is still one of the most memorable drives I ever had for highway driving.

reminds me of a white XR4 I see at track events in Perth from time to time, very fine handling car and engine sounds angry and strong too.

It's more of an XR4 'wannabe' hehe. It's a WP Zetec with the body kit, 16-inch rims (they were an option back then), spoiler, floor mats, leather gear lever, scruff plates bla bla bla. Pretty much near identical to what the current WS Zetec is, except not quite as white! Love them both though. Will be sad when I start going broke soon and have to sell it...

I did nearly buy an XR4 last year though?

Not a bad drive is it? Providing you don't get stuck behind two trucks down the range *bangs head*
