Figured we haven't had a cruise in a while so I thought I'd start the ball rolling for a cruise from brisbane (maybe Milton Macca's again down to the Goldie to the Spit.
For those that don't know the Spit is the place to be on the GC if you like cars, there's everything from JDM, SX SPEC to Euro Q cars and american muscle. It;s all very family friendly if you want to bring the muchkins and i'm open to suggestions for the route as the Pac Hwy isn't all that fun (well unless your me and can pump the tunes :P) I was thinking either the last sunday in February or the first one in March to give people plenty of time to plan and get their cars looking schmick (my roofracks will coming off) Any thoughts??? trento

Will definately try to make it. I do work some weekends though and I have to make a trip to Sydney for a weekend but should be able to get out. Its a good excuse to FINALLY wash my car too. It is so filthy and with this weather it just hasnt been worth giving it a full going over. Just a quick wash once a week.

Sorry all, the first calender I read had sunday at the end of the week and the other had it at the start. I was correct the first time. The cruise will be on Sunday the the 6th of March. As for a new meeting place how about the UQ car-park we took the photo's in last time??? Somewhat central with plenty of space on a sunday arvo??? Also I'll be opening this up to the rest of the forum, see if we can can a decent group.

Hey ALL!!! Sorry for the silence, have been bush with work for 2 weeks. As far as I'm concerned it's still on, details as above. Gold Coast Council said that there weren't any events on that day so we should be all good. As for the cops everyone make sure your car is legit. Steve, not sure if your headlight/taillight tint will pass so maybe read up on that. And no I haven't out it on the XR4 forum as I'm not a member because I don't have a XR4... yet.

Mate, I really want to come and represent the XR4s!
I am pretty sure I am double booked on the Sunday, so I'm not sure whether I will be able to make it along. Really keen for a cruise at some stage though, would be really good to catch up with you guys. Out of curiosity, do you reckon a Mountune intake would be a problem with the law?

Nope as it is enclosed! I didn't think QLD had a problem with pod filters like other states, I may be wrong!
