Default AU Fairmont DOHC Conversion - Is it worth it?

Hi guys,

I've been looking for a while as to how to tackle converting my AU to a turbo. I have been priced up to get my current engine turbo'd running a wolf piggyback ecu setup and it will cost me just over 10k. To me that seems pretty insane getting the car just over 200kw with a standard AU engine (valve springs changed). My next idea is to go DOHC turbo.

I know a barra turbo can fit into the AU engine bay and bolt up to the existing trans. I still want to retain my AU dashboard, climate control etc. I would imagine I'd need to piggyback a BA ecu to run the engine and an AU ecu to run the rest of the car as per normal. Is this possible and has anybody done it? I've been reading of conversions but not much has been answered in terms of what is actually needed to dohc turbo an AU. Any insights would be great.

Cheers, Alex.
