89 KE Laser rear speakers?

Hi, I got a 89 Ford Laser Ke 1.6l i got the other week. pretty good nick too.

So heres my question. What are the size of speakers that fit into near the boot? (Not sure if it comes stock but mine didn't come with any speakers at all and want to fit in a sounds system). Also if no one minds can they recommend some decent speakers?

Hi, is your car a hatch or sedan? If it's a sedan, you can put any size that will fit on the rear shelf. If it's a hatch, the maximum you acn use in the shelves next to the luggage space is 150mm diameter. bigger ones simply will not fit unles you use 6x9s or butcher the compartment. as to suggestions for brand, you get what you pay for. IE the more you spend, usually, the better speaker you will get eg sound four $35. Bose, $350 more or less. Anyway go to a car stereo place and they will put you right but keep your eyes open as some of them just want you in and out separating you from your cash as quickly as they can for as little equipment as possible. cheers
