Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week  Looking like it just drove straight out of a mad max film, this tough HT Monaro was a shoe in for our top Holden of the week. With a fastest time of 12.71 @ 110.4 MPH on the night it was a pleasure to watch blast down the track. Top Ford of the Week  This truly is one mad XY, lifting a wheel and waving to the crowd as it took off from the start line each run. Finishing its night with a fastest quarter of 11.60 @ 112.9 MPH. Top Japanese of the Week  Not your average Mitsubishi mirage, this little beast featured a number of Lancer EVO body panels; and we’re guessing it shared an engine too. Scooting down the quarter mile in just 11.51 @ 118.4 MPH ! Top Rotary of the Week  Not the manufacturer you’re used to seeing here, this week’s top rotary goes to this tidy little Datsun. Featuring custom bodywork and a full cage, it was no surprise to see this little rocket run consistent 12’s all night; with a fastest pass of 12.05 @ 112.0 MPH. Top European of the Week  Looking classy in black, this week’s top euro went to this beautiful Jag. The owner showing he’s not afraid of the track and taking home a solid 13.96 @ 101.54 MPH on the night. Commentators Pick of the Week  Commentator’s pick of the week went to this black Lamborghini, simply because it was just a schmick machine, with a fastest time of 13.75 @ 110.9 MPH on the night, and looking great for every second. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM.
