2001 Fairmont Ghia with the Tickford engine.
Hi to all can some knowledgeable person please tell me how the hell do I permanently disable the overspeed alarm because every time I start the car it starts beeping driving me Yarra. The poor old LCD,s have nearly given up the ghost. Even if I can silence the buzzer or speaker that would work for me. |

When the overspeed alarm button is pressed it will display the last set value. Pressing
the speed alarm button again within 5 seconds will turn it off. It shouldn't be beeping when you start the car though.
