Looks hot Buckie, love those wheels too! I hadn't ever seen a blue one in Canberra, it might be even rarer than than the AU which picked up a clone or two

Like most things, I never do things the easy way. Manual would tell me all I need to know. Voyage of discovery :

I'll try that. Not tonight, although if my noisy neighbours keep me awake again, might park it out side their bedroom window with the windows down like you suggested. :hihi:

Apart from Carratt's old car, it's the only one I've seen with the same kit. Theres a black AU getting around with stripes. Seen a few BA Gt's now with the same stripe setup that Shorty has on his GTP.

LOL the XR5 has an alarm system that will go off if you walk past or lean in the car if the windows are open. basically a sensor i think it is...

yahuh, also if you have the front wipers on and put the car in reverse the rear one comes on momentarily while the gear is in reverse.

Nice buy Buckie, msut be weird in the senses to get out of the AU and into the lil Focus!

But good choice on the XR5T, if there ever was a small car to swing me from the big aussie brutes its the smaller XR Series ford has got goin on, and they are only set to get soo much better as the years get on.

HAHAHA nah, just know some stuff hehehehe

tend to do some research for no reason to keep me occupied.

ohhhh um lock the car and hold the lock and unlock for 3 seconds and the lights should flash.

Then when you unlock the car only the drivers should unlock.

that SHOULD work on the LS. not sure. but give it a go.

Thanks guys. My introduction into the world of Boost. I like it very much. It feels different to any XR6T or F6 I've been in. Not as quick, but a really nice drive. A different kind of power. Maybe being a 5cyl is the key. Definatley different car to my AU.

It's a dream to drive. I got an early 07 build, so it misses a few of the nice things the new model has, but I'm not complaining. If you let the small things worry you, then it kinda takes the shine off owning a new car. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I really like the Performance Blue colour. No leather.

Was sorry to see the SR focus go. She's been a great car to me. I had considered getting rid of the AU, but In the end I kept the AU and got rid of the SR.

Cheers
good chioce :P :

btw, beautiful car ... i bet ur happy!!!

manual or auto?

PS... saw a brand new US Focus at Steeda headquarters in South Florida a few weeks ago... maybe it'll be a little more ballsy?

Thanks guys. I've just about to hit 3,000 k's, and with the exception of a week in the workshop, its a great car. Enjoying this thing called boost.

Also i had the pleasure of having a backseat ride in an XR5 which has been edited. Its got over 200kw's now and about an extra 100nm of torque. It unleashes the beast within. So plenty of potential. But for now, I am more than happy with the power mine has.

Not a fan of the US styling. It looks totally different to the focus we get. I was relieved to see that we have retained the current shape for the 08 focus. Just a few minor changes.
