Not surprised not many Falcons on Carsales because they are keepers, XR's/G6's etcetc you name it not many want to move them on.

Its been 6yrs since the last builds and very sad.
What I noticed for myself having to update the daily sometime this year and doing some window shopping, I would have just gone to my Ford dealer and ordered the next Falcon LE or whatever came to be.
Now I'm do I want another Dual Cab ?, or a wagon or SUV.
Damn mosh pit.

Agree with this. Been looking but the enthusiasm is tempered. Flaccid, even. If Ford were selling Falcons and Territories, that would have been it, mine would be on order already. Imagine how well they would have done in covid with all the stimmies money and people wanting toys...

I've seen more FGX's racing on the speedway than doing road service.

Im almost at the point of preferring super 2 or 3 series racing over the main game, with the greater variety of cars. ie Fgx falcons and nissan altimas.

Theres an fgx owner in the next street across. He leaves the car out in the weather at all times. Its hard to watch.

Latest Aussicams short has an FG-X playing “Battle of Schlongs” with a white van.

One other thing to notice how the cars are changing as well. Old School we had chrome bumpers and New School was plastic bumpers, but now we have no grills for of the Eveready battery powered cars.

Chrome Bumpers
Plastic Bumpers
No Grill

Took the xr8 for a trip down the freeway today to meet a buddy for a catchup (it normally lives under wraps now) and yes you get people looking at the cars now a bit differently. It is a bit of fun passing those battery cars with the v8 bubbling away as we go past.

Travel up to the Midwest was Holden country, many VF's going to and from Perth on the Highway, mostly hi spec and V8 performance ones. A couple of ZBs too.

Out back in the industrial area, there's still that sprinkling of Holdens amongst the dual cabs but this time it's VY's, the old reliable workhorses. Utes, sedans, crewmen and one tonners.

Had a bit of a throwback yesterday, pulling up at the lights next to the old engine plant. 4 Territories in a row, a Mercedes, then another Territory in the right lane, with an FG and a BF ahead of me, and me in my FG in the left lane.

Was like going back to 2015. It's usually mostly Rangers there at that time of day.

I've seen a few lowered Territories lately, I mean sitting on bumpstops stuff. I guess this is what they have become

Definitely plenty of Territorys on the roads of Melbourne. Not many SX or SY ones but.

To set the seen on Melbourne construction sites, they are now a sea of dual cab utes. I feel like I'm the odd one out driving a FG mk2 XR6T ute. You still see a few FG utes on site being worked to death but they are being greatly outnumbered and phased out by the thai utes.

When i started in the industry 8 years ago, having a HSV Maloo was said to be the "ultimate" ute to have. In 2023 having a Ford raptor is now the new "ultimate" ute. How things change.

Sometimes i think about selling my 2013 FG ute which cost me $27k in 2016 with 40k on the clock but i love it so much. Having a look at the current market the only real performance ute on the market is the new Ford ranger raptor. At $95k it's a big jump in cost from the humble Falcon ute!

With 40k on the clock it's barely even ran it. Keep it.
