Default AU HeadUnit Install .... amp fuse?

refering to http://www.fordforums.com.au/vbporta...article&id=725

it suggests a 0.35a fuse for the amp trigger wire, but i cant find nothing on the jaycar website that says that spec

http://www.jaycar.com.au/

could someone please link me to a suitable fuse?

0.35A = 350mA

Its only a fuse for the trigger so a 500mA should be fine.

while im still waiting for my damn ebay wiring harness... one more question, the green wire used in the tutorial for the SUB+........ is it the green/white strip or the plain green wire as they are side by side, and the picture in the tutorial points to nowhere

well the ******* tutorial didnt work, i cut every god damn green, black & red wire hanging off that black plug and no combination worked

im just gonna have to buy my own amp & wiring kit and run it to the factory sub, thats the only way i can see everything working :-(

I'll Check mine tomorrow.

I know red is the remote signal, but i have a feeling that the signal cables were both black on mine. One to the right of the red and the other directly below that.

yeah, i figured it must be different in some cars as i spent alot of time trying to get mine to work. And the sub/amp were defintely working before the stacker crapped itself

the cheap JVC double din stereo im using fitted perfectly really looks at home, the sound is cleaner/crisper x10 over the original premium deck..... im actually glad it kicked the bucket

ive gave up trying to make the factory sub work, so at a total cost of $350 delivered ive ordered

*200rms Kenwood monoblock http://www.ryda.com.au/Kenwood-KAC-M...p/kacm615d.htm
*200rms Boston 8" Sub http://www.ryda.com.au/Boston-G1-8-C...ce-p/g1084.htm
*Aerpro 8ga Wiring Kit http://www.ryda.com.au/Aerpro-BSX008...A-p/bsx008.htm

This should make an improvement hopefully!!
