Default AU Falcon Door Actuator

Hey guys

Recently my Front Left door has stopped locking, and I was wondering where would the best / cheapest place to buy a new lock and actuator? I saw this one on ebay for $75, but I was wondering if there were any cheaper ones available, other than buying a used one from a wreckers.

Thanks, Ben

A new one will set you back roughly $180rrp. So i think that price is already rather cheap.

Try replacing the white plastic gear inside the actuator unit, it'll cost you $17 for the part and the time it takes to remove the door trim and disassemble the actuator unit.
There's a guide in the tech area.

I've used these people 3 times in the past, great service and never had a problem with their actuators.

Wreckers may be cheaper, but how long will theirs last and would they come with a 12month warranty?

It may be quicker not buying it via eBay but to them a ring.

Received the lock set up today, and swapped it out.
The number of times that door trim went on and off because I forgot to do something though.... :P Oh well, I'll be better at it next time.
