Default What's the most attractive part of the AU?

I've always liked this bit - I find it sexy, almost like the smooth curves of a female. I should stop there.

:

what do you find attractive? Why do you like the AU?

Overall, I find the AU1 forte in galaxy blue the most beautiful AU, especially the waterfall grille, contrary to what many think. This includes the interior. The design flows so well. Never ceases to amaze me how it was so poorly received. The only thing I can fault in it is the high set suspension from factory.

But the parts (not overall) of AUs I like are:
- Of course the a$$ of my au3 xr8 with that bodykit looks very horn.
- The au1 xr's full bodykit. Especially in Silhouette.
- The T3's front end. Its amazing how driving lights change the look of the au3 forte style.
- The LTD really defines massive luxobarge. And IMO successfully manages to look nothing like a falcon (contrary to DF, DL & B-series). On the outside at least.

I have to agree with monty, the boot looks awesome, and makes it the mean looking falcon we all love.

Best part of my AU? The after market steering wheel (AutoTek).

On a standard AU i reckon the Ford badge is the best looking part.
The only AU that looked nice were the T3 strokers in my opinion.

Yeah you're bang on the money Juzman, that is awesome

There are so, so many good things about the AU that make its older and younger siblings look plain; the AU got the flair and style. But noooo, the boring, conservative, unimaginative aussie public wouldn't know style if it hit em in the face.

Also, I've always wondered what would the AU's status be like if they'd started selling the AUII look (interor and exterior) from the outset...

I've always liked the look of AU's looking down from an elevated angle (like looking down from a balcony).. everything fits

The low lip spoiler I will agree with also, subtle, but lifts the saggy corners perfectly

The AU has remarkable curves. The AU is one of the best ageing cars out there, in fact if it was released today it wouldn't have been considered so "extreme" and may have actually been embraced (at least AUII shape) - Ford were just too ahead of their time.

Hahaha i wouldnt want to be seen in a standard AU (i thought they looked ******** when they came out and think they still do..... as i said only the T3 looked decent cos it had a bodykit to try and amend the hideous bloated look of the stock AU) and let me say my little EVO sure does fight well above its weight especially around a race track....

As for the B series, well the turbo 6 is the thing thats best there.

Oh and i also currently own a old "X" series (1965) falcon and just sold a current "F" series falcon and i did own a "E" series XR6 once too but just couldnt talk myself into owning a AU.....

I love the reflection of the whole profile as I drive slowly past a shopfront with a lot of glass.

The curves look just right, I love the roofline, rear glass, down to the spoiler and bonnet. Never tire at catching a reflection.

What I love the most is different on all of them.
The one thing allmine have in common is how well they handle.

On the current Ghia it's the back half......
only part of the car that is perfectly dentless. lol

On the old Ghia it was the the car as a whole...Dam I miss her.
Brings a tear to my eye everytime I see a picture of the old girl.

On the TE it's the engine bay

and the front part of the car. The brakes the Azzuros and that unmistakable T-series grill.

The bonnet and front end of the series 1 xr.
I like the raised line in the centre of the bonnet that was not held throughout the entire series and also the smooth curves of the series 1 xr front end. Moist!!
